Czech has a reputation for being difficult, so it’s tempting to stay in the safety of English. But then you miss out on the small moments: a chat about your dog in the park or a joke from the postman.
I’m Kateřina, a Czech teacher for foreigners. I make Czech feel manageable by focusing on key grammar, useful phrases, and cultural essentials, like why chlebíčky appear on every party table.
I teach adult learners who speak English or German – from complete beginners to advanced. Choose between online lessons, small-group classes, and a 12-week asynchronous course.

“I highly recommend my Czech teacher! She is incredibly positive. I really enjoy her interactive and conversation-based teaching style. Since starting with her, I’ve gained much more confidence in speaking Czech. One of the things I appreciate most is how she tailors each class to my individual needs.”

“I've had Czech lessons with various teachers for several years. I've been with Kateřina for the last three years. After all this time, I can give her my unconditional recommendation. She was always cheerful and always kept her lessons varied and up-to-date. She was always patient and encouraging in her interactions with me and my wife.”
